Twill Work Shorts with Cargo Pockets
Twill work shorts with a relaxed fit, cut with storage in mind rather than as an afterthought.
The fabric has stretch in it, which is the difference between shorts you can crouch in and shorts you fight. The main seams are triple-needle stitched, the fly zipper is brass, and the pocket layout is the reason to own them: two at the front, two cargo pockets on the leg, back pockets closing with hook and loop, and a dedicated pocket for a phone. That last one matters more than it should, because a phone loose in a cargo pocket does not survive a summer.
They are cut long enough to work on site and short enough to wear off it. Take your usual waist. Sand and slate both hide dust better than anything darker, which is what shorts spend the summer covered in.
